As with gladness men of old
did the guiding star behold,
as with joy they hailed its light,
leading onward, beaming bright,
so, most gracious Lord, may we
evermore be led by thee.
As with joyful steps they sped,
Savior, to thy lowly bed,
there to bend the knee before
thee, whom heav’n and earth adore,
so may we with willing feet
ever seek thy mercy seat.

It’s always a good day to draw nearer to Christ. It’s never too
late, either. So many things and distractions conspire to keep us away, so
Christmas is a
wonderful time
to draw near. The Wise Men let nothing, including King Herod,
keep them away. Be a wise person. Draw near to the Savior today. In Him is all
we desire.
